Ferentz speaks on hospitalized players

Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz spoke yesterday for the first time since last week’s hospitalization of 13 players. He said they're still trying to get to the bottom of what happened. Ferentz said there is no evidence of underlying factors that would contribute to the rare muscle disorder. He also acknowledged that he should now have left campus to recruit while the players were hospitalized. All 13 players have been released from the hospital and will make full recoveries. The Iowa state Board of Regents launched an investigation that should be finished by the end of April.
