18-year old Dakota Lee Parker of Johnston's in the Polk County Jail on $25-thousand bond, charged with attacking the interim priest of St. Lukes Episcopal Church. The Des Moines Register reports Rev. Benjamin Webb says he heard a noise coming from the church cloak room yesterday morning, and that Parker appeared and hit him several times in the head. Webb's injuries weren't serious. Police say Parker may have gotten in breaking the window in a door.
