Three fired over the hospitalization of Iowa football players

Three University of Iowa Hospital employees have been fired over a breach of medical records. Hospital officials said the three were involved in inappropriately accessing the records of 13 Hawkeye football players who were hospitalized last week. The case has been turned over to federal regulators who can choose to seek additional fines and jail time for those involved. Two other hospital employees have been placed on an unpaid five day suspensions.
