A clerk for Republican State Rep Renee Shulte says she was canned for posting Facebook messages about keeping politics out of the judicial system, according to the Iowa State student newspaper. Jessica Bruning says she wasn't told during training to keep her political opinions to herself. Schulte tells the Des Moines Register Bruning's an at will employee who can be fired for any reason. Schulte's co-sponsor of a bill to amend the state constitution to let voters decide yeah or nay on gay marriage.
