Democratic State Sen. Tom Courtney's asked for state and federal audits of the use of federal funding for an effort to remove ineligible names from the state’s voter rolls by GOP Secretary of State Matt Schultz. The Des Moines Register reports there's no evidence Schultz has asked to use any HAVA money to pay for an investigator to check into Iowans.
