If a new Farm Bill isn't approved by congress soon, milk prices could go as high as $6/gallon. KCCI reports the old bill expired yesterday, returning government support for agriculture back to 1949 rules, which could mean higher prices not only for milk, but cotton, and other farm products since farmers will get less USDA support.
