Kijua Beaudrie's been sentenced to a prison term of not more than 30-years for each of the three counts of child neglect she pleaded guilty to earlier this year. She told the court she was ashamed for not stopping her husband from hurting their children. The husband, James Beaudrie, faces trial on sexual abuse and child endangerment charges for abusing 3-of their 9-children, and prosecutors say she knew about it.
A lot hasn't been mentioned on Kijua's life. When in 2nd grade her mother divorced their dad and lived with a man who would eventually be their stepfather. He molested her from age 9 -13. She and her sister quietly went to live with their dad. The molester was Never punished, and their mother married him. Sad!
