800-plus schools and community groups statewide will offer new programs aimed at raising access to and interest in science, technology, engineering and math education. The Des Moines Register reports it's the work of the Governor's STEM Advisory Council, which has been working on putting more attention on those areas to better equip the state's workforce for future jobs.
