Des Moines City Council's expected to agree to cutting 12 positions in the budget. KCCI reports only 9-of the jobs are currently filled, and they're in the Park and Recreation Department, and have already been notified. The city's expected to save close to $228-thousand in the current budget year. If the cuts are made, the employees will have their jobs until March 29th of next year.
