The state auditor's office has been investigating the finances of the Lincoln High School football program for the last few weeks, at the request of the Des Moines School District. KCCI reports fired coach Tom Mihalovich's says he welcomes it, adding he's invested thousands of his own money in the program over the last 12-years and says its appalling that money he handed to school officials from fundraising never got into the district's account.
