Most Des Moines Water Works customers will see a zero rate increase in 2013, new Water Works CEO and General Manager Bill Stowe said Tuesday.
That zero rate increase applies to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
The Board of Water Works Trustees proposed budget includes $50.4 million of operating revenue. Operating expenses are expected to be $33.3 million and capital infrastructure costs $19.4 million.
A public hearing on the proposed 2013 budget will be held Nov. 27 at 3:30 p.m.
