coats

On those coldest days of winter in Iowa, with wind chills pushing temperatures well below zero, it would be unimaginable to step out in the dangerous, freezing conditions without a warm winter coat. But many students here in Warren County do just that, because they don’t have a coat.

You can help.

As part of USA Weekend Magazine’s Make a Difference Day, you can help Keep Our Kids Warm by donating a coat for students in need. Just bring a new or gently used coat to one of our drop-off locations, and we’ll take care of the rest, working with Helping Hand to get them to local children who need them the most.

Bring your new or gently used coats to our drop boxes at Peoples Bank in Indianola, Carlisle or Lacona; Community Bank in Indianola or Norwalk; City State Bank in Indianola or Martensdale; Fareway in Indianola or Norwalk; or Hy-Vee and Drees Family Chiropratic in Indianola, by Oct. 29 and help Keep Our Kids Warm this winter.
