A Des Moines woman had to be checked out at a hospital this morning after she apparently blacked out behind the wheel of her SUV and hit a reflective pole on Highway 65 near Army Post Road. Polk County Sheriff's deputies say the sign apparently broke off and went through the windshield. KCCI reports 31-year old Desiree LeBlanc's injuries weren't life threatening.
