There's groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday for the first new hotel in Polk City in almost 75-years. The Des Moines Register reports the 44-room Boulders Inn and Suites in Polk City is going up on an extension of Tyler Street and be next to the Tournament Club of Iowa golf course. Construction of the $3.2-million Inn, is expected to be finished next spring.
