An immigrant who was born in a refugee camp in Thailand has claimed a $1 million dollar prize in the Lifetime Riches instant-scratch game. Aenoi Phetxoumphone, of Webster City, claimed the prize on Monday. He was born to parents who escaped war in Laos. The family initially came to California and he arrived in Iowa 13 years ago. He and his wife have four children.
