Terry Branstad is expected to begin his interviews next week with the nine finalists for the Iowa Supreme Court bench. Unlike the nominating process, the meetings will be private. The nine finalists - five judges, three lawyers and a law professor. Branstad spokesman Tim Albrecht said the governor plans to take most of his allotted 30 days to decide which three nominees to name to the Supreme Court.
