A Des Moines man's in the Polk County jail on a burglary charge after a home invasion yesterday. Police tell the Des Moines Register 35-year old Jonathan Brewer, Jr. allegedly kicked in the door of an apartment in the 1000 block of 24th Street just before 3a.m. 54-year old Henry Palmer and his 17-year old grandson Tyrone Cameron were inside. They say Brewer splashed them with gasoline. Brewer's being held on $25-thousand bond.
