Corn and soybeans continued their 2011 year end rally today on the Chicago Board of Trade, with March corn closing up 12 cents per bushel to $6.58 and March soybeans up 20 cents per bushel to $12.18. The Des Moines Register's reporting hogs were also up on the first trading day of the new year, picking up $1.22/ hundredweight to $85.32 for March delivery.
