Cedar Rapids Police say a 13-year-old boy didn't go to the hospital for three days after he was shot twice in the head New Year's Day. KCCI reports the boy says he heard gun shots when we was taking out the trash, but didn't know he'd been hit until he got inside. He was staying with a friend while his mom was out of town. When she got back home she rushed him to a hospital where he was treated and released.
