Sold out crowd For The Bacon Fest
Close to five thousand bacon lovers packed the fairgrounds yesterday for the 5th annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival.
Every year the event almost doubles in size. The crowd of 4700 people is the biggest crowd to date and it took less than thirty minutes for tickets to sell out.
The event showcased more than 20 restaurants and ten different suppliers from the Midwest.
There was everything from bacon cupcakes to bacon brownies and bacon ice cream.
According to Organizers This year's Bacon Fest will donate about $10,000 back to the community.
