Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping’s spent part of his day touring a farm in Maxwell. Gov. Branstad says he's already talked with the heir apparent to the Chinese Presidency about being the first U.S. Governor to call in Beijing when he becomes president in 2013. Xi reportedly like the idea and even suggested a possible reunion with those he knows from Muscatine where we spent time in the 1980's.
