Five students and their school bus driver were hurt when their Southeast Polk school bus was hit by two other vehicles this morning. Investigators said the crashes happened at Hubbell Avenue and Northeast Broadway Avenue. One vehicle slammed into the rear of the bus, and that vehicle fled the scene. Then a pick up hit the bus. Police said the bus driver and students probably did not have life threatening injuries.
