Regents Say Budget Cuts Would Mean Another Tuition Hike

Iowa Board of Regents Pres. Craig Lang and fellow Regent Bruce Rastetter say if house republicans go ahead with plans to cut their proposed budget, they'd have to raise tuition again. They already approved a 3.75% tuition hike for this fall based on their budget passing as proposed. Appearing on Iowa Public TV's Iowa Press both men say Gov. Branstad's spending plan would avoid another tuition increase.
