Gronstal Says NO to GOP property Tax Plan

Senate Majority Leader Michael Gronstal says the GOP sponsored property tax plan would add $310-million to residential property tax bills, and the won't get any support in the senate. The House GOP plan's in line with what Gov. Branstad wants, cutting commercial property taxes by 40% over 8-years and finding $240-million to offset what local government's will lose in revenue. Republicans say other parts of their package would property homeowners from higher prop taxes.
