Regents Vote to Close Cedar Rapids Laboratory School

Despite weekend protests by parents, students, graduates and employees, Iowa's Board of Regents today voted to close the Malcolm Price Laboratory School in Cedar Rapids. KCCI reports The K-12 lab schools been at the center of UNI's teacher training program.. Today's vote calls for the school to close by June 30th. UNI President Ben Allen told the Regents the schools gotten to expensive to operate.
