Lawmakers Start Work on Educartion Reform

The Iowa House Education Committee's started work on education reform. Committee republicans plan to remove Gov,. Branstad's proposal to require all 11th graders to take college entrance tests. Democrats are taking issue with the Governor's proposal to hold back third graders who don't show reading competency, and with how much the GOP want to set aside for education.
