For 49 year old Jay Rodney Lewis, the worse thing that happened was going to jail. The jury acquitted him of shooting a man after a road rage incident, but he told the Des Moines Register dot come that it got worse:
Lewis said his landlord gave no notice of an eviction, but put all his belongings to the curb. He said his mother was handling his affairs while he was in jail for 112 days since he had no job and couldn't make bail.
