A Polk County jury's convicted Keith terry of serious injury by vehicle and DWI for hitting and seriously injuring a Des Moines Police officer outside the Iowa State Fair last summer. At the time of the crash Terry's blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. Officer Phoukham Tran was helping people cross the street when he was hit by Terry's pickup truck and thrown 50-feet.
