The new $32 million hotel at the Prairie Meadows casino opens March first. KCCI reports one of the features included in the project is a salt water pool. Facilities director Clint Pursley tells KCCI it doesn't smell like a chlorine pool -- you won't have red eyes when you get out, and no itchy skin. All that's removed. He says they wanted a more user friendly experience.
