WDM Bank Sells Four Branches in Iowa

Liberty Bank's selling four branches in Northwest Iowa as part of an deal with regulators who ordered it to raise its' core capital ration after suffering loan losses in Florida during the recession. The three Liberty branches and a drive-up location will be sold to Spencer-based Northwest Bank, pending regulatory approval. Northwest already has a total of 16 locations in Iowa and Nebraska. Liberty's based in West Des Moines.
