Des Moines officials are trying to figure out what killed 55-year old Debra Dillard. Her body was found in her Hartford Avenue apartment this morning after family asked for a welfare check. According to the Des Moines Register officials say there'd been a fire in her apartment, but it had gone out on its own from lack of oxygen. Investigators want to know when the fire happened, how it started and spread, as well as the last things Dillard did.
