A former doctor in the state prison system's surrendered his medical license to settle allegations that he sexually harassed a staff member. Dr. Pradeep Sarswat, who worked at the state prison at Oakdale, had his license suspended three times since 1989 for drug abuse, and was on probation several times for inappropriate touching of patients during exams. The 62 year old retired last year, and the Des Moines Register reports he earned $217,00 in 2010, his last full year on the job.
