A state economic development official says Iowa's battling Nebraska to attract a $1.2 billion data center. Debi Durham, of the state Partnership for Economic Progress, says she can't identify the company, but says it isn't one of the big names already doing business here. Two locations are being considered here and one in Nebraska. The state economic development authority's expected to hear the plan and consider incentives to attract the business at their March meeting.
