NWS Issues First Spring Flood Forecast

The National Weather Service's first spring flood outlook has the risk of flooding near or below normal at all locations. KCCI reports that while a dry winter is helping keep the risk low, significant spring flooding in Iowa typically needs heavy rainfall. The snow pack alone's usually not enough to lead to major flooding. The next updates due March 1st.
