Muscatine County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a crash that killed a 39 year old woman from moscow, which is in the eastern part of the state. They said that Mindy Lee Ann Hume, of West Liberty died at the scene. She was apparently heading east on US Highway 6 on Saturday night, about 8:30 when another driver ran a stop sign. He was IDed as 19 year old Eric Boots of Muscatine. Neither he, nor his passenger were hurt.
