It's probably norovirus. That's what health officials in the Independence school district are saying. Some 30 students in the northeastern Iowa district went home in the middle of the school day last Thursday, and Superintendent Jean Peterson another 20 went home early on Friday. School was out yesterday because of President's Day, so students had an extra day to get well.
