A woman was rescued yesterday from a sewer opening in Council Bluffs. She told rescuers that she fell in and had been trapped there for about 24 hours. KETV reports that two passersby heard the woman yelling for help around 4:45 p.m. and called 911. They also said the woman was naked from the waste down. She was taken to the hospital.
