Ankeny Police say driver they caught after a half hour car chase early Monday was only 13-years old. Nicholas Niffenegger wasn't alone. KCCI reports a 12-year old boy was a passenger in the car, which officers say went through a yard and hit a garage at Southwest 47th and Somersby, then jumped curbs, crossed medians, and finally crashed into a ditch near Second Street. The car belongs to Niffenegger's grandmother. He faces a theft, reckless driving, and other charges.
