Cold enough for you? Apparently not, since we haven't seen any zero temps yet this year. That was yesterday, February 6, and the National Weather Service says the coldest its been at the Des Moines Airport, where they keep the thermometer, has only been down to one. That's one degree above zero. The record was set back on February 6, 1914 when the temp was minus two. We've always had temperatures below zero here, but this year, not so far. Is it truly winter in Des Moines if it doesn't get below zero?
