USDA says Iowa Corn Yield Better than Last Year and National Average

The U-S Department of Agriculture says the state’s corn yield will be 12 bushels per acre higher than in 2010. The national yield is expected to be down, because of poor planting conditions in the north and east and a drought in the south. Prices are projected to stay in the seven dollars per bushel range.
