An Iowa man is back in the state from South Dakota to face charges. Thomas Peterson of Greene is accused of killing his wife and kidnapping their son. He was in custody yesterday in the Butler County Jail and will be in court tomorrow. Peterson faces first degree murder charge for allegedly stabbing his wife. Police said he then fled with their two year old son.
