KCCI is reporting that a driver led Ankeny police on a chase through some neighborhoods, but then he crashed into a ravine. Police said the driver drove through a yard, hit the garage, and then kept going into the backyard at Southwest 47th and Somersby, on the south side of Ankeny. Police said the driver finally crashed into a ditch near 2nd Street. They said there was a short foot chase, but officers were able to arrest the driver.
