Branstad Says Lawmakers Need to be the Example On Health Care Costs

Gov. Branstad's wants the legislature to set an example and require themselves and all elected officials to pay more for their health insurance. Appearing on "Iowa Press," Branstad says elected officials should cough up at least 20% of their health care costs, setting an example for other state workers. Republicans proposed all state workers [pay $200/month for their health insurance earlier this week.
