Cable barriers are going into the medians on I-380 in Linn and Johnson counties, and its hoped that the number of accidents will be reduced, The project started last month using several strands of settl cable which grabs an out of control vehicle, keeping it from going into traffic going the opposite direction. Expect to seel cables in Iowa and Cedar Counties too.
