22-year old Rena Gai had a rough Tuesday night. Des Moines Police say she came home from work to find her front door kicked in and her brother and his girlfriend, both appearing intoxicated, in her Crocker St. apartment. It went downhill from there. Police tell KCCI 25-year old Wendy Horn, the girlfriend, assaulted her, grabbed her own daughter, got in her truck, and left. A couple of hit and runs, including an injured cyclist, police caught Horn. Among the charges against her: burglary, OWI, and child endangerment.
