Big Lottery winners have yet to claim prizes

Checked your lottery tickets lately? Three winning tickets valued at a total of $27.6 million have been purchased in Iowa over the last six months, but none of the prizes has been claimed. A Doc's Stop convenience store in Webster City had a $9.1 million Hot Lotto winner over the weekend. In December, a ticket purchased at a Des Moines QuikTrip store won a Hot Lotto jackpot of $16.5 million, and last month a Powerball ticket was sold in Boone for $1 million. Prizes have to be claimed within a year of the drawing.
