Police agencies across the Des Moines area have something up their sleeve..a plan to get you to ease up on the gas next week According to KCCI, the reason is new traffic numbers showing speed was a factor more often in fatal crashes in 2010 than in previous years. The Central Iowa Traffic Safety Task Force has organized a traffic enforcement project for next Tuesday. Officers will focus on stopping speeders across the metro during the morning hours
