Lawmakers held a public hearing yesterday about banning traffic speeding and red light cameras in Iowa. The measure failed to make it out of the subcommittee with 2 of 3 members declining to support the current bill. Lawmakers said they want more information and instead of an outright ban, want to consider more rules on how the cameras are used in the future.
