A 50-year-old man died after he fell through the ice while fishing at George Wyth Lake in Waterloo. Investigators said they're not releasing his name yet, but that he was pronounced dead last night. They think he was under the water for several minutes and unresponsive when crews got to him. Park rangers told police they heard the man yelling for help around 7:30 p.m., but because of fog and darkness, they couldn't see him. Rangers called 911 and rescuers brought a hooked poll to troll the deep water to find the man.
