A House Transportation Committee's passed and sent to the full house a bill banning the use of automated cameras to enforce traffic laws. Supporters say police officers enforce the laws using their discretion, something the cameras take away. KCCI reports those who want the cameras say they make the roads safer and there's nothing inappropriate in using them top enforce traffic laws.
